PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the horizontal blank period, while enabling the precharge of a sensor and the operation of the signal output from the sensor, in a display device equipped with the sensor in a pixel. SOLUTION: At least during a video signal writing period, a precharge voltage Vpre is supplied to a precharge voltage supply line 12; and since a prescribed voltage 5V is supplied to a sensor signal output line 13 by a precharge circuit 10, due to which a scanning line 4 is driven and the precharge of the sensor via the precharge voltage supply line 12 and the output processing of the sensor via the sensor signal output line 13 are made possible, in parallel with the processing where the video signal is written to the pixel via a signal line 5, the need for the precharge of the sensor and the output processing of the sensor during the horizontal blank period is eliminated.
