PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timber connecting fitting for tying short solid materials to each other to form a long material. SOLUTION: The timber connecting fitting 1 is provided for aligning two timbers 2 at their end faces to be formed in one unit. It comprises two lug screws 3 to be screwed into lower holes 12 in the timber end faces, and a connection screw 4 to be screwed into the lug screws embedded into the end faces of both timbers to form both lug screws in one unit. A cutout groove 18 is formed around the end faces of the two timbers, and the lower holes 12 are formed in the timber end faces opposed to each other with the cutout groove as a center. Each lug screw has a right female screw and a left female screw on one head end face and on the other head end face, respectively. The connection screw has a tool locking portion at the longitudinal middle and a right male screw and a left male screw formed on one longitudinal side and on the other side, respectively. The lug screws are formed in one unit with the screwing operation of the connection screw, and the heads of the lug screws and the locking portion of the connection screw are stored in the cutout groove.
