PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothed belt capable of reducing driving resistance while preventing warpage. SOLUTION: A belt teeth 3 are formed in an inner peripheral surface of a belt body 1, a core wire 2 is continuously buried in the belt body in a circumferential direction, and the belt teeth 3 are covered with tooth cloth 4. An intermediate canvas 5 for preventing the warpage of the belt is buried in a part closer to an outer peripheral side of the core wire 2. A void rate of the intermediate canvas 5 is set to be 20% or more, and inside and outside rubbers of the intermediate canvas 5 are integrated. The intermediate canvas 5 is brought into contact with the core wire 2 from the outer peripheral side to make the distance from the center of the core wire 2 to the intermediate canvas 5 minimum. The extension of the intermediate canvas 5 is suppressed, and the thickness of the belt is reduced and the flexural rigidity of the toothed belt is reduced as much as possible to reduce the driving resistance.
