PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding for a seat slide rail advantageous for suppressing a foreign matter from intruding to the inside of a lower rail. SOLUTION: The molding is arranged between the lower rail 15 having the opening 16 and a floor surface F. At a cross section along a direction crossing an extending direction of the opening 16, the moldings 2, 2b have a base part 20; a first piece part 21 provided on the base part 20 and opposed to a peripheral edge of the opening 16 of the lower rail 15; and a second piece part 22 provided on the base part at an upper side than the first piece part 21 and directed to a central side of the opening 16 more than the first piece part 21 so as to contact with a mobile body 13 at a seating seat 1 side.
