PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving up-and-down handrail for work at high place which handrail enables an easy and quick measures for preventing worker's fall and alleviating injury to the worker resulting from worker's fall when the worker tries to move onto a vehicle bed or vehicle roof in a stable position for work without being affected by a given work condition or environment in a high place, such as a roof or bed of a truck, etc. SOLUTION: The moving up-and-down handrail for work at high place is attached to a motortruck with an open bed or a vehicle carrying a load on its roof. The handrail is variable in length, and is adjusted to a proper length and anchored to prevent a fall of such a worker as a driver and work instructor from a ladder for climbing attached to the vehicle when the worker works to unload and give an instruction for unloading from the vehicle. A hook of a safety belt is anchored to a hook anchoring part on the top of the moving up-and-down handrail at a possibly highest level. Because of this, even if the worker mistakenly falls from the vehicle, a distance of fall turns out be a short one to alleviate injury to the worker. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
