PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device which can reduce the cost by reducing the number of parts and prevents withdrawal operationality from being damaged by increasing an article holding force for a card or the like. SOLUTION: The storage device is equipped with a case 1 paying in and out an article C from the outlet 1a at one end side, a slider 2 which is longitudinally slidably disposed, and slid to the rear part of the case by an inserted article, an energizing means 4 energizing the slider 2 to the extraction direction of the article, and a latch means 3 releasably locking the slider 2 at an article storage position. The slider 2 is longitudinally slidably relative to the case 1, and the article C is holdably incorporated between the article and the responding inner surface part of the case by swinging in the approximately crossing direction to the sliding direction. The energizing means 4 can increase the energizing force for pressing the slider forward along with the sliding rearward of the case of the slider 2, and the energizing force for holding the article C between the slider and the corresponding inner surface part of the case 1 by swinging the slider.
