PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operating device of a press brake which is simple in constitution. SOLUTION: In the operating device 2 of the press brake with which a work W of sheet metal is bent, the operating device 2 of the press brake has a switch 43 provided on a shoe of an operator of the press brake 1, a transmitting means 45 for transmitting a signal by which the state of the switch 43 is expressed and a receiving means 49 for receiving the signal transmitted by the transmitting means 45.
