PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that cow dung e.g. is very difficult to dry owing to the high moisture content of 80-90% and that, among current drying ovens, the internal combustion type dries rapidly but allows the carbonized product to be deposited to the combustion oven because of direct heating, thus being hard to discharge, while the external combustion type dries rather slowly and requires very high costs. SOLUTION: Cow dung e.g. falls down from a charging inlet into a drying pipe and is blown with hot air from a combustion burner. The dried product is scraped out by a discharging screw blade, fallen down on the upper part of a carrying screw and discharged by an inverter motor. Since both the heating power of the combustion burner and the rotary motor of the discharging screw blade are adjustable, the degree of drying by the drying oven can be changed freely.
