PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher preventing scald by heated air exhausted outside or dew condensation outside of the machine without deteriorating a drying performance. SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes a washing nozzle 20 provided on the inner bottom of a washing tub 16 and washing housed dishes 18, a first blowing means 22 for exhausting air in the washing tub 16 outside through an exhaust port 24, a temperature-detecting means 30 for detecting the temperature in the washing tub 16, and a second blowing means 28 for mixing outside air into the air exhausted from the exhaust port 24. Operation time and/or air rate of the first blowing means 22 and second blowing means 28 is changed according to the temperature detected by the temperature-detecting means 30. For example, when the operation time of the first blowing means 22 is reduced and the operation time of the second blowing means 28 is increased at the initial time of a drying process, the temperature and humidity of the air exhausted outside are reduced to prevent the scald by heated air or dew condensation without deteriorating the drying performance.
