The invention relates to a method for estimating a quantity of a channel in a radiomobile communication with OFDM modulation between at least one mobile terminal (k) and at least one base station, said estimation being carried out at the symbols (mD) of data of a communication frame by means of polynomial interpolation based on determined values of said quantity, at least at the N<SUB>p</SUB> pilot symbols (mP) of the frame which are associated with the mobile terminal. According to the invention, the degree N of the interpolation polynomial is selected between 0 and N<SUB>p</SUB> -1 according to the speed of displacement of the mobile terminal. The invention can be applied to the estimation of propagation channels in radiomobile communications between mobile terminals and base stations, using MC-CDMA technology. |
