Cobalt based alloy (I) for the preparation of dental prosthetic restorations with impurities of less than 0.5% comprises chromium (24-30%), tungsten (5%), molybdenum (2-5%), silicon (1-1.5%), manganese (0.1-0.5%), nitrogen (0.1-0.35%) and remaining of cobalt.
