The gravure printing unit (10) has connecting element (48) for detachably retaining connecting platform (52) of the printing machine (12) for production of working connection for the printing cylinder (14). The printing cylinder and the color application device (18) are detachably connected on the connection platform whereby counter-pressure cylinder (16) remains in printing machine. An independent claim is also included for the printing machine.
