The part has an opening for inserting a fixing screw to fix a cover (200) on the support part (100) of a bus bar support (10). The opening has thread segments, which are formed in such a manner that a thread coil is provided in an axial continuous direction at each arbitrary radial position of the opening. The segments are separated from each other, and a recess is provided for accommodating a bus bar. The support part is made up of plastic material and can be manufactured by a plastic injection molding process. An independent claim is also included for a bus bar support with a support part.
