A transmission line is provided to improve a signal transmission efficiency of the transmission line by suppressing coupling property between adjacent transmission lines by using slits to operate as an inductance element. A slit(110) is arranged at adjacent portions(121) of two transmission lines(100,101). The transmission lines are arranged to be adjacent to each other. The slits are regularly arranged in a width direction of the respective transmission lines. The slits of the first transmission line correspond to the slits of the second transmission line. A current distribution on the transmission lines is focused on a center of the slit. An electromagnetic field is reduced around the slit, while the electromagnetic field is increased in a region with no slit. A coupling property between adjacent transmission lines is decreased.
