<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back light module comprising a reflection cover removing a luminous pillar phenomenon and improving uniformity of light and use efficiency of light energy. <P>SOLUTION: The back light module 30 comprises a light source 42, a light guide plate 50 and a reflection cover 41. The reflection cover comprises a plurality of reflection parts, each two reflecting surfaces 411,412 face at a prescribed distance to form a space, and a light source is housed in the space. The shape of the cross-section of the reflecting surfaces is determined by the formula. Where ρ is a polar axis of a polar coordinate, ϕ is an angle rotated and formed in a clockwise rotation from an origin of the polar coordinate, and θ is an angle rotated and formed in a counterclockwise rotation from the origin of the polar coordinate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
