PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator of high usability for the purpose of mainly storing food and ice. SOLUTION: A light source 13 is disposed in at least one of storage compartments of the refrigerator, for example, switching of temperature in a switching chamber 6 and switching of color tone of the light emitted from the light source 13 are related and interlocked with each other, and the color tone in the compartment is changed in stages to a set temperature, so that a user can confirm a temperature situation in the storage compartment in one glance, and easily confirm the completion of switching, thus the refrigerator capable of giving satisfaction to the user can be provided.
