PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol resin-foamed article capable of stably maintaining its heat insulation performance for a long period, also capable of inhibiting the generation of the corrosion of a metal on making a contact with the metal material and further suppressing the environmental destruction as minimam or preventing the environmental destruction. SOLUTION: This phenol resin-foamed article is obtained by foaming/curing a foamable phenol resin molding material containing a phenol resin, a blowing agent, an acid catalyst and an inorganic filler, wherein the blowing agent contains a 2-5C chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbon and a 3-6C aliphatic hydrocarbon, the inorganic filler is selected from at least a meal hydroxide, metal oxide, metal carbonate salt and metal powder, and the pH of the phenol resin foamed article is≥5.
