PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction control device of a vehicle, and a traction control method of a vehicle capable of changing a brake fluid pressure in a hydraulic circuit suitably corresponding to increase and decrease of a slip volume of a driving wheel. SOLUTION: When a CPU detects a slip volume SLP of a detected driving wheel, it detects a slip volume differential volume by differentiating the slip volume SLP of the driving wheel. When the slip volume SLP of the driving wheel becomes larger than a slip volume threshold KSLP, the CPU detects a first indication fluid pressure PI1 by multiplying the slip volume of the driving wheel with a first constant Ka. Also, the CPU detects a second indication fluid pressure PI2 by multiplying the slip volume differential volume DSLP with a second constant Kb. Thereafter, the CPU controls the brake fluid pressure in the hydraulic circuit based on an indication fluid pressure PI found by adding the first indication liquid pressure PI1 and the second indication fluid pressure PI2.
