<p>Bar-code label printer with a carbon ribbon adjusting apparatus includes a framework, a print head provided on the framework, a carbon ribbon supply reel, and an adjusting apparatus located between the print head and the carbon ribbon supply reel. At least one end of the adjusting apparatus is adjustable, a carbon ribbon from the supply reel pass through the adjusting apparatus and the print head successively. By suitable setting of the direction of the carbon ribbon guide rod, a uniform tension is applied across the ribbon tape to prevent wrinkling thereof in the bar-code label printer. As only a little stress has been applied upon the guide rod, the adjusting apparatus has the advantages of simple structure, low cost and convenient operation. Users manually set the adjusting member, and fasten the adjusting apparatus when the tension of the carbon ribbon determined by eyeballing is suitable.</p> |
