<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method capable of catching and utilizing in the system tars, high-boiling nondecomposed organic matter, ammonia, hydrogen chloride, etc. produced when water-rich organic matter is subjected to gasification treatment with supercritical water to obtain fuel gas for energy recovery and feedstock gas for dimethyl ether, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating supercritical water decomposition gas comprises the step of decomposing water-rich organic matter with supercritical water and obtaining the resultant gas generated, the step of absorbing substances comprising tars and other high-boiling oil-soluble organic matter in biomass-derived combustible oil to remove the substances, and the step of simultaneously separating and removing part of the water-soluble components in the above gas by condensing water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
