<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric having excellent capillarity, liquid diffusing power and liquid permeability and excellent stretchability. <P>SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric 10 in an embodying form has a first layer 1 containing crimped fibers 11. In the layer, the plurality of crimped fibers 11 locally gather together to form fiber clusters 12 and the plurality of fiber clusters 12 are dispersed throughout the whole layer. The fiber clusters 12 are mutually connected to form a connected network structure of the fiber clusters 12 in the first layer 1. Furthermore, the nonwoven fabric 10 is provided with a second layer 2 which is another fiber layer arranged on one surface of the first layer 1. Both the layers are partially joined with a plurality of joints 3 to protrude the other fiber layer 2 between the joints 3.
