PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adaptively change repeated reservation in the case of changing broadcast time of a television program.

SOLUTION: A recording reservation part 33 generates reservation information based on a recording reservation setting operation from a user and outputs the reservation information to a recording reservation management part 36. The recording reservation management part 36 manages the reservation information inputted from the recording reservation part 33. A similarity calculation part 37 calculates similarity between a keyword described in the recording reservation information and program names acquired from each piece of program information constituting EPG data. A changing part 38 built in the recording reservation management part 36 updates the managed recording reservation information. An EPG management part 39 manages the EPG data acquired by an EPG acquisition part 20. A recording control part 40 controls a tuner, an encoder and a storage part in order to execute recording based on the recording reservation managed by the recording reservation management part 36. The present invention is applicable, for example, to a video recorder.
