PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for obtaining a desirable still image for a user from a moving image. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus for generating moving image data including an in-frame data part for expressing only a frame image and an inter-frame data for expressing an image on the basis of a difference from the image represented by the in-frame data part through moving image photographing includes: a recording section for detecting a camera shake in the midst of the moving image photographing and recording a timing of camera shake detection in cross reference with the moving image data; and a still image segmentation section that segments the in-frame data part for representing other images than an image corresponding to the timing recorded by the camera shake recording section in the in-frame data part to produce still image data.
