摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent resin-silica composite structure having high flexural strength and suitable for applications such as an artificial bone. SOLUTION: This resin-silica composite structure has a silica porous structure with 50-80 vol% open pores whose pore diameter is 0.1-50μm, where the open pore is filled with a resin at a ratio preferably≥50 vol% of the silica porous structure. The resin-silica composite structure is obtained by infiltrating the open pore with a pore diameter of 0.1-50μm and accounting at a rate of 50-80 vol% in the silica porous structure with a monomer and polymerizing the monomer.
