PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unitarily manage passwords required in an infinite variety of systems on a user side. SOLUTION: In a log-in screen, a user first inputs a user ID to a user ID input column 204. An authentication part 22 extracts an association generation term corresponding to the inputted user ID from an authentication DB 23, and transmits the association generation term to a client 1. When a Web browser 11 receives the association generation term from an authentication server 2, the Web browser 11 displays it in an association generation term display column 206. A combination rule known by only the user oneself is applied on the basis of the association generation term and a password base predetermined only inside brains by the user oneself to obtain the original password. Thus, an individual side can systematically manage a lot of the different passwords which the individual faces. Though the association generation term is disclosed, another person cannot generate the password from the association generation term by undisclosing the base and the rule.
