PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an image-switching apparatus constituted of a small number of circuits, and to selectively use the circuits without waste, according to the change of use. SOLUTION: A main operation part 2 is connected to a control part 4 which controls image processing parts 5 to 9, and a sub operation part 3 is connected to the main operation part 2. A means for setting the image processing parts 5 to 9 to a standard mode or a halving mode is provided. At the standard mode, the control part 4 controls the image processing parts 5 to 9 according to instruction from the main operation part 2. In the halving mode, the control parts controls the image processing parts 5 to 9, according to instructions from the main operation part 2 and controls sub circuit blocks 5d to 5f in the image processing parts according to instruction from the sub operation part 3.
