PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving device capable of speedily searching for a broadcasting station broadcasting traffic data. SOLUTION: A CPU 4 detects the identification code of the specific broadcasting station which broadcasts the traffic information data from RDS data received by an antenna 1 and an RM multiplex tuner 2 and demodulated by an RDS decoder 3, and stores the identification code in a memory 5. Then CPU 4 detects an identification code matching the identification code (PI code) stored in the memory 5 from RDS data newly received by the antenna 1 and multiplex tuner 2 and newly demodulated by the RDS decoder 3 to search for the specific broadcasting stations from a plurality of broadcasting stations.
