PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic carrier vehicle for avoiding a risk against an explosion caused by an excessive charge and extending a lifetime of a battery. SOLUTION: In this battery charge/discharge management system of the automatic carrier vehicle that uses a mounted battery as a drive source, automatically traves and charges the battery at a charge station located on the ground, the battery as a nickel hydride battery or a lithium-ion battery is used, and the problem is solved by a charge control means for starting the charging of the battery when a remaining capacity of the battery reaches a capacity to start the charging of the battery and stopping the charging of the battery when the remaining capacity of the battery reaches a capacity to stop the charging of the battery.
