PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection lens where automatic focusing can be carried out with high accuracy at a low cost, and an image can be corrected by taking color information on an original image as a reference, without increasing the number of components, while suppressing the variations of measurement positions of a range finding means and a photometry means for each product. SOLUTION: Regarding the projection lens 100, which projects light emitted from an image display element so as to form an image on a projection screen, the projection lens 100 holds the range finding means 201, which is used when performing autofocusing and/or the photometry means 202, capable of correcting the projected image by taking the color information on the original image as the reference.
