SOLUTION: In the method for subjecting a beltlike aluminum plate to anode oxidation treatment in an electrolytic solution comprised in an electrolytic cell, a beltlike aluminum plate is arranged between an anode and a cathode opposite to each other in an electrolytic solution, an electrical insulator having energizing parts is arranged between the anode and the beltlike aluminum plate, each energizing part lies within the position of 10% from the outside to the length in the width direction of the beltlike aluminum plate, a part of the beltlike aluminum plate is tightly stuck with a part of the electrical insulator, also, the electrical insulator moves simultaneously with the beltlike aluminum plate, electric current is made to flow between the anode and the beltlike aluminum plate through the energizing part, and an anode oxide film is formed on the face facing the cathode in the beltlike aluminum plate.
