PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key panel capable of being made thinner in spite of an illumination attachment, and in addition, capable of improving key touch and saving the number of light sources. SOLUTION: The key panel 10 constituting a key input part 7 of a cellphone 1 combines a retention sheet 13 consisting of an elastic material with a substrate 11 having a membrane switch 12 formed. Key tops 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d are adhered to a key stroke part 16 of the retention sheet 13. The key top 15a constituting ten keys is made of a light-transmitting matter, four pieces of them of the same grid shapes aligned in a square making up one set. A light guide body 21 arranged at the center of the four pieces makes light emitted from a light-emitting diode 19 on the substrate 11 incident from a side edge of the key top 15a to shine the key top 15a. A part of a reinforcing panel 14 of transparent synthetic resin combined with the retention sheet 13 to give a given rigidity to a site other than the key stroke part 16 is used as the light guide body 21.
