PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve same reproducing efficiency in 2 motors, as that of 3 motors by using vibration detection B. P. F to discriminate an eccentric disk from the other disk, and setting a servo gain high when the eccentric disk is discriminated. SOLUTION: For each disk to be reproduced, the cutoff frequency of quake-proof detection B. P. F is changed for eccentricity detection to discriminate whether a disk is an eccentric disk. When the result of the determination shows that the disk is the eccentric disk, a servo gain is changed for a gain for the eccentric disk. Thus, the function of improving reproduction efficiency of a scratch disk and an eccentric disk, which has been difficult in an inexpensive 2-motor optical disk device is provided.
