PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge suitable for use as the so-called a disposable type and enabling easy and accurate dilution. SOLUTION: The cartridge A is equipped with: a liquid introducing port 3 into which a sample liquid is introduced; and a dilution means 4 which includes a dilution liquid tank 41 storing a diluting liquid 40 for diluting the sample liquid, a sample liquid metering means 43 for separating a definite amount of the sample liquid introduced from the liquid introducing port 3, and a dilution tank 42A for mixing the sample liquid with at least a part of the dilution liquid, and the cartridge is mounted on a separate apparatus. A sample liquid metering means 4 includes: the introducing flow channel 43a extended from a liquid introducing port 3; the metering flow channel 43c connected to the introducing flow channel 43a through a branch part 43b; and an overflow flow channel 43d, and a metering flow channel 43c goes toward the dilution tank 42A.
