PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sill device for an elevator in which space between sills are reduced and their collision is prevented. SOLUTION: The sill device comprises: a car floor 4 of a car of the elevator; a landing floor to which the car floor 4 is to land; a car sill 12 disposed to the car floor 4 to be opposed to the landing floor; a landing sill 13 disposed to the landing floor to be opposed to the car sill 12; and a guide roller 16 rotatably disposed to the car sill 12 to be projected from the car sill 12 in a direction of the landing sill 13. A cam 17 is disposed to the landing sill 13 at a position opposed to the guide roller 16. The guide roller 16 is at a position spaced from the cam of the landing sill 13 at the normal time, the guide roller 16 is brought into contact with the cam 17 when the car is oscillated or there are earthquakes, so that the collision between the sills is prevented.
