PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a liquid-droplet jet head capable of performing ejection of a liquid droplet superior in a frequency characteristic and an ejection stability by suppressing protruding of a meniscus right after the ejection of a liquid droplet, and to provide the liquid-droplet jet head and a liquid droplet jet device. SOLUTION: A natural cycle Tm of a vibration of a meniscus by a surface tension in a nozzle 10 on the liquid-droplet jet head is expressed by the formula in Fig. 5(c). The natural cycle Tm of a refill vibration system is a comparatively long cycle as shown in (d). The position of the meniscus after the ejection of the liquid droplet becomes zero, and then the meniscus protrudes from the nozzle 10 to slowly restore to its normal state by taking a time period of about 150μs. A refilling time period or a drive frequency of an ejected liquid droplet is significantly influenced by the vibration (a sonic vibration system). That is, the actual vibration of the meniscus is of a synthetic waveform of both vibrations superposed with each other by being influenced by the sonic vibration system (Tc=about 10μs) and the refill vibration system (Tm=about 40μs). The designing of a drive waveform including a measure to be taken for the vibration of the meniscus is carried out based on the natural cycle Tm in the refill vibration system.
