An apparatus comprising a belt (24) and a retaining means, which belt (24) defines a path that has a first portion which is divergently orientated with respect to the retaining means, the belt (24) being arranged to accept and convey a first part of a sleeve (60;70) along said first portion of the path, the retaining means being arranged to accept a second part of the sleeve (60;70) in sliding engagement therewith, the belt (24) being operable to separate the first part of the sleeve (60;70) from the second part of the sleeve (60;70) wherein the sleeve (60;70) is conveyed by the belt (24) and the second part of the sleeve slides along the retaining means. |
