<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary shaft seal capable of prolonging its service life by introducing lubricating oil into a slide-contact part coming into slide-contact with a rotary shaft in a rubber-made seal part sufficiently. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary shaft seal is provided with the rubber-made seal part 5 having the slide-contact part 23 coming into contact with a surface of the rotary shaft 20.
