<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin material supplying apparatus which can at least detect the incorporation of foreign matter into a pelletized reproduced resin material before it is supplied to a molding machine, so that production costs can be reduced and to provide a recording medium cartridge provided with a molded component molded with the resin material supplied by the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the resin material supplying apparatus 40 comprising a hopper 46 into which the pelletized reproduced resin material 42 and a virgin resin material 44 are charged and supplying a mixed resin material in which the reproduced resin material 42 and the virgin resin material 44 are mixed from the hopper 46 to the molding machine 50, a quality examination device 48 examining the quality of the mixed resin material before it is supplied to the molding machine 50 is provided.
