PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit design method that includes varying the configuration of an input transistor so that negative delay is avoided without insertion of a buffer. SOLUTION: The circuit design method for a computer to design a circuit includes a parameter value acquisition procedure in which, for every parameter value of input circuits that constitute the circuit, the computer refers to a plurality of parameter value tables in a predetermined order that indicate whether delay time is positive or negative according to the inclination of input through and load, thereby acquiring the parameter value at which circuits showing negative delay time are changed to indicate positive delay time; and a circuit configuration varying procedure for varying the configuration of the input circuits within the circuit by means of the parameter value acquired.
