PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flowmeter capable of measuring a flow rate accurately. SOLUTION: In this electromagnetic flowmeter 30 of the present invention, a bar code reader 47 provided in a clamp part 40 reads an inside diameter dimension D of a measuring flow passage 26A, from a bar code 52 printed in a new disposable housing 50, when replacing the disposable housing 50 attached to the clamp part 40, and an MPU 38 reflects the inside diameter dimension D onto a flow rate computing coefficient C1. The MPU 38 computes the flow rate of a fluid by multiplying an induced voltage E detected by detecting electrodes 33, 33 with the flow rate computing coefficient C1. That is, the new flow rate computing coefficient C1 is determined in response to the inside diameter dimension D of the measuring flow passage 26A provided in the new disposable housing 50, in the every replacement of the disposable housing 50 into the new one, and the accurate flow rate is measured all the time because the flow rate of the fluid is computed using the flow rate computing coefficient C1.
