PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed quantity supply device and fixed quantity supply method, suitably supplying matters to be supplied. SOLUTION: The fixed quantity supply device 1 has a hopper 2 stored with matters to be supplied, a carrying mechanism 3 feeding the matters to be supplied, which is fed from a lower part of the hopper 2, toward a horizontal carrying direction D. A reduced part 23 is disposed to the hopper 2 so that the cross-sectional area of its opening gets smaller downward. A feeding port 25 feeding the matters to be supplied from the hopper 2 is disposed to a lower end part of the reduced diameter part 23. On a front side of the lower end part of the reduced diameter part 23 with respect to the carrying direction D, a clearance 26 is formed between the lower end part of the reduced part 23 and the carrying mechanism 3. A pusher 30 moves forward toward the clearance 26, and moves backward from the clearance, and a drive mechanism 31 moves the pusher 30 forward or backward. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
