PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a power cord by attaining a cooling effect through prevention of a direct contact between the power cords and arrangement of a space between a power cord adjustment unit and the power cord. SOLUTION: A power cord length adjustment unit is a tool for adjusting a length of the power cord between the main body of a domestic electrical appliance and a wall socket insertion port, storing and protecting the power cord. Its raw material is formed by heat-resistant insulating resin, a groove for use in putting the power cord is arranged in a slant direction at a side opposite to its longitudinal direction and formed into one groove.
