PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus where a three-dimensional region of interest is set simply. SOLUTION: A display control part 7 superimposes a two-dimensional marker to a C-face image or a tomogram and makes a display part 8 display it. The marker expresses a prescribed range set on a C-surface on an actual space, and its movement and deformation are restricted by a polar coordinate system on the display part 8. An operator moves or deforms the marker using an operation part 9 to be coincident with a desired section to be diagnosed. A 3DROI decision part 12 decides the range of three-dimensional region of interest (3DROI) based on height information and information showing a shape stored previously in a ROI setting information storage part 13 with a range occupied by the marker as the bottom surface of the three-dimensional region of interest.
