The invention relates to a method for damping of thermo-acoustic oscillations (60) by means of a resonator (70) which has a resonator volume (42), with thermo-acoustic oscillations (60) being induced in a cavity (46) which is inclined with respect to the thermo-acoustic oscillations, and at least some of the thermo-acoustic oscillations (60) being output from the cavity (46) and being input into the resonator volume (42), with damping oscillations (62) being produced in the resonator volume (42), which are matched to the thermo-acoustic oscillations, with at least some of the damping oscillations (62) being input into the cavity (46) in such a manner that the damping oscillations and the thermo-acoustic oscillations overlap in an overlap area (64), and with the oscillations being largely cancelled out, at least in the overlap area (64). The invention relates to an apparatus for damping of thermo-acoustic oscillations (60) in a cavity (46) which can oscillate, comprising a resonator (70) with a resonator volume (42) and a cavity (46), so that the cavity (46) is connected to the resonator volume (42) via an output line (72), and in which the output line (72) has an adjustment device (76), by means of which a thermo-acoustic oscillation in the output line (72) can be influenced, and in which a further resonator tube is connected from/to the cavity (46). The invention also relates to a combustion chamber (4) together with a method and an apparatus (65) according to the invention, and to a gas turbine (1) having a combustion chamber (4) such as this. |
