An ashtray of a vehicle is provided to restrict an ashtray cover from being displaced from an ashtray body by supporting a lower edge of the ashtray body with a support sill. A protruded edge is formed in an upper part of an ashtray body, and a fitting groove is formed in a lower part of the ashtray body. A groove is formed in an upper edge of an ashtray cover(15) to insert the protruded edge of the ashtray body, and a fitting sill(16) is formed in a lower part of the ashtray cover and inserted to the fitting groove. The ashtray cover is combined with the ashtray body by inserting the fitting sill to the fitting groove. A support sill(19) is formed in the lower part of the fitting sill to support the lower edge of the ashtray body in assembling the ashtray cover with the ashtray body. The lower outer edge of the ashtray body is rounded.
