<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved method for connecting two pieces of pipes in a pipe system. <P>SOLUTION: In order to achieve arrangement formed of linear angles of the engaged pipes, the pipes 10a, 10b that are engaged with each other by a screw 12 integrally formed at the male pipe 10a and by a groove 14 integrally formed at the female pipe 10b can be connected to each other. The integrally formed screw 12 and the groove 14 are formed at the pipes 10a, 10b through a process that is known as selective laser sintering or stereo lithography. Furthermore, two or more grooves and protrusions may be formed at the pipes so that the screw 12 is fit to the groove 14 at only one angle. The groove 14 may be a passage aligned with respect to the central axial of the female pipe 10b, or a groove having a spiral form. When the screw 12 is engaged with the end of the groove 14 or an abruptly-changed part of the groove 14, the male pipe is linearly aligned with respect to the female pipe, and/or at an angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
