<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the quantitative analysis and the display of the size and a direction of a streaky range by noticing an arbitrary gazing range on an eyeball surface and specifying the streaky range in the gazing range. <P>SOLUTION: A digital image which is acquired by capturing an image of a front eye section in the condition that the fluorescent dyeing is applied to a tear layer on the eyeball surface is analyzed. The streaky range can be visually recognized as the range with the high concentration of the fluorescent dyeing. Thereby, the streaky range on the eyeball surface is specified from the image and is subdivided into the ranges with the same shapes and sizes, and the centroid of the concentration of the fluorescent dyeing of the streaky range in the subdivided range is calculated. A vector showing the direction of the streaky range around the centroidal position is calculated and the result is outputted to a display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
