<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a receiver capable of realizing low power consumption, low cost and high performance and a method for demodulating data of a receiving signal. <P>SOLUTION: A subcarrier detection circuit 3 acquires a signal obtained by removing a carrier from a signal received from a recording medium 11 adopting an ASK or FSK communication system through an antenna 2, and then an A/D conversion circuit 4 binarizes the acquired signal by A/D conversion, a period measuring circuit 21 in an LSI 5 extracts a signal having the period of a subcarrier set in a register 23 in the LSI 5 from the binarized signal, and a waveform shaping circuit 22 in the LSI 5 obtains a response from the recording medium 11 to a request from a PC10 from a leading edge signal of the extracted signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
