PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing roller attachment/detachment device of a moving handrail for a man conveyor capable of manually rotating a fixing nut after the fixing nut of the pressing roller is loosened by a spanner or the like by restricting a flat spring of the pressing roller by a restriction fixture. SOLUTION: The pressing roller attachment/detachment device of the moving handrail for the man conveyor is provided with a drive roller for driving the moving handrail; the pressing roller opposed to the drive roller while clamping the moving handrail; the flat spring provided between the pressing rollers and normally pressing the pressing roller to the drive roller side; a pressing roller fixing plate provided on the moving handrail side of the flat spring and having a bolt portion of an integral structure extending to the opposite movement handrail side of the flat spring; a flat spring presser provided on the side opposite to the moving handrail side of the flat spring; the fixing nut threaded to the bolt portion of the pressing roller fixing plate and arranging the pressing roller in the regular mounting state; and the restriction fixture 21 detachably mounted to the pressing roller in the regular mounting state of the pressing roller and restricting the flat spring from getting free.
