PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device capable of effectively functioning vehicle behavior control by suppressing excessive thrusting up and pulling from a trailer relative to a tractor in a coupled vehicle. SOLUTION: A control means evaluates the information of a detection signal obtained from a traveling state detection means, operates an independent braking means so as to restrict at least one of vehicle speed and vehicle lateral acceleration in turning to a predetermined allowable value or smaller based on the evaluation result and automatically generates braking forces on a tractor wheel and a trailer wheel to perform the automatic deceleration of the vehicle. Further, at starting such automatic deceleration, the braking force is generated on the trailer wheel prior to the tractor wheel and during the execution of automatic deceleration, the operation of the independent braking means is controlled so as to generate a larger braking force on the trailer wheel than the tractor wheel.
